F'Amelia Restaurant Wedding Photography: Toronto Wedding Photography

Last summer I received the most amazing email… it basically said “We’re looking for a Toronto wedding photography vendor, we love your work but we don’t want engagement photos…. why? Because no one even knows we’re engaged… we’re planning a pseudo-surprise wedding!” Could it be? Can they actually pull this off? How the heck can you plan a wedding without anyone knowing? I was intrigued… I simply had to be a part of this day!

I first met Sam and Anthony a few weeks before their wedding and they cheerfully elaborated on their decision for a pseudo-surprise wedding. As much as they deeply love their family and friends, they wanted everyone to focus on the true meaning of a wedding: the union of two individuals who are very, very much in love. Wedding planning, although often fun, can be sprinkled with flurries of drama and stress – something that Sam and Anthony didn’t want to have to worry about. They wanted only the fun and awesome and none of the stress, hence… the surprise!

With only a few weeks before the wedding, Sam and Anthony dropped the bomb to their immediate family that they were getting hitched… and SOON! The smiles and celebrations ensued and a few weeks later I met up with the happy couple at the Toronto Necropolis chapel for their amazing and intimate wedding day.

The wedding ceremony at the Toronto Necropolis chapel was short and sweet. An exchange of perfect vows and a beautiful wine box ceremony. After a few photos just outside of Riverdale farm and throughout the neighborhood.

Time for the food, right? F’Amelia Restaurant wedding receptions are amazing! The environment fosters an intimate mood and the food itself was beyond amazing. A truly perfect environment for a gathering of family and friends.

Before my night ended, I accompanied the happy couple to Grossman’s Tavern; their favourite watering hole and entertainment tavern! We snapped and few quick photos and I left the happy couple to celebrate the night away.
