Toronto Newborn Photography: Baby B.

Sweet Baby B. I’m so happy to have had the pleasure of meeting you at your Toronto newborn photography lifestyle session. Having the opportunity to document your story when you’re new in the world is one of the best parts of my job.

Beautiful Baby B,  how perfect you are!  When I first met your mommy and daddy she was wearing a white gown and he was looking quite dashing in his suit.  They walked down a long aisle, held each other’s hands and said “I do”.  They kissed the most magical kiss.  They loved each other deeply and every day their love grew stronger.  I was lucky enough to see your mommy again when her belly was beautiful and round and she was anxiously awaiting your arrival.  We talked about how excited she was to meet you and how much she already loved you.

Spectacular Baby B, once you arrived your mommy and daddy said the sweetest thing to me during our session.  They said “I thought I loved him when I saw the ultrasound pictures; and I thought I loved him when I could feel him kick inside my belly.  But once I saw him in person I loved him even more than I ever thought I could.  It’s such an amazing feeling.”

Toronto Newborn Photography: Tips for your Session

Lifestyle sessions are meant to represent a day in your life; your real story.  That being said, life can get very hectic when a newborn arrives.  Gift bags may be scattered around your home from all the last minute gifts your (awesome) friends and family bring, dishes might be piled up and laundry?  Well…. who has time for that?  Needless to say, your house may be a little messier than normal once your little one arrives.  While houses don’t need to be perfectly tidy for sessions, it is important to have enough room to work and to have your house in a way that represents what an average day is like.  If you think you may need help tidying up before your session, ask a friend or family member!  Once your little bundle of joy arrives, every single person is going to say to you “Just let me know what I can do to help!”… well, this is something they can help you with!  Having a little help tidying pre-session gives you the chance to shower, drink a cup of coffee and have a wonderful morning with baby without the worry of house cleaning and tackling that stack of dishes.
