Black Creek Pioneer Village Wedding // Toronto Wedding Photography
When I shot Eryn and Jeremy’s engagement photos at Cherry Beach earlier this summer, I fell in love with them! They are the sweetest, most devoted and hardworking couple; not to mention, Jeremy’s ability to match me in Simpsons trivia was pretty impressive, too. I knew right away that photographing their Black Creek Pioneer Village wedding was going to be a blast!
The morning began in the bridal suite; the hustle and bustle of the wedding day already begun. The bridesmaids were steaming their dresses and Eryn was getting some last minute to-do items checked off her list. Finally, the McDonald’s arrived! The moment they had all been waiting for; a tradition amongst the ladies. Eryn had her makeup elegantly applied as she snuck bites of her cheese burger combo. I love this lady, I really do!
We headed to Black Creek Pioneer village where Eryn and Jeremy had their first peek of each other; they grinned ear to ear upon seeing each other. We wandered around Black Creek Pioneer Village and used a variety of backgrounds for our photos. The skies were darkening and it looks like rain clouds were coming in; we all collectively crossed our fingers and hoped for the clouds to pass.
The ceremony took place just outside of Town Hall and a lively cocktail hour followed. The stormclouds went away without a drop of rain and a beautiful, golden sun graced the sky. The guests were having a great time with the Polaroid photo book as well as with each other; definitely one of the friendliest and most upbeat crowds I’ve had the chance to photograph this summer. A gourmet BBQ dinner was followed by speeches – and a special guest star appeared… Jeremy’s childhood teddy bear!
Before the dancefloor opened, all were serenaded by the mindblowing talent that is Countermeasure. After a few songs, Jeremy took to the stage with his Countermeasure partners and sang his heart out; Eryn even gave him a standing ovation! The night is never complete without a late-night food truck serving tasty plates of poutine!
Eryn and Jeremy – you were both so fantastic to work with and I enjoyed every single moment of capturing your wedding day story. I wish you a lifetime of love, happiness and laughter!
