Bob Rumball Manor Wedding
Jenny and Ernest’s Bob Rumball Manor Wedding photos make me swoon. They are so romantic, so soft and so sweet. Despite the calmness and serenity that these images portray, once the food came out and the music started pumping, the wedding day turned into an energetic evening of entertainment and laughter!
If you’ve followed my Toronto wedding photographer blog for a while, you may recall seeing Jenny and Ernest before. Last summer we captured their CNE engagement photos and had a BLAST doing so. (Even if it meant I had to get onto a ferris wheel…. yikes!) I had the priviledge of working with them again for an Edwards Gardens engagement shoot, too. Why 2 locations? Because Jenny wanted corndogs and Ernest wanted a more natural background so they compromised: 2 engagement sessions at 2 different locations.
The wedding day started bright and early with the girls gathered in the bridal suite to get beautified while the guys were subjected to some traditional Chinese doorgames to earn their right to see the bride.
It was raining off-and-on all day; luckily Bob Rumball Manor is a beautiful indoor photography location and we were shielded from the raindrops. We had the entire manor to ourselves – how lucky!
We had a few minutes of clear sky so we took advantage of it and ran outside to get the stunning ivy walls into our images.
The ceremony was simple; getting married in front of the head table they would later share their first meal at as husband and wife, Jenny and Ernest’s ceremony was filled with laughs, giggles, smiles and smirks.
Ernest wooed Jenny with his moves and even sang her a love song. It really speaks to his level of devotion for him to stand up in front of 200+ of his friends and family and bust a move in order to bring a smile to his blushing bride’s face.
Luckily his groomsmen weren’t too hard on him during speeches – just enough to embarrass him while still maintaining friendships afterwards!
The food was plentiful, the entertainment was exciting and laughter and joy could be found in every corner of the hall that evening. Congratulations Jenny and Ernest on a beautiful wedding day! xoxo
