You might think that what I love most about these cozy indoor newborn photos is the beautiful nursery decor or the adorable puppy that wanted to be a part of the session – but it’s the couple themselves! I had the pleasure of photographing their wedding a few years back and it’s such a delight to be able to capture a couple’s love story as it grows and becomes a family’s love story.

Taking newborn lifestyle photos at home is always ideal – it’s a place that is familiar to your little one, it’s meaningful, and it has everything you’re going to need. When we’re capturing newborn lifestyle photography sessions, it’s important to remember that the baby is the boss of the show! When they want to eat, we stop and they eat. When they need to be changed, we stop and change them. If they need a break and just want to walk around with their parents for a bit – then you guessed it – we do that. Cozy indoor newborn photos are relaxed, no-pressure, and ideal for people who want a naturally unobtrusive experience for their newborn memories.
