Sometimes when a couple can’t agree on an engagement photography location, the only solution is to choose two different locations! I had the pleasure of having Jenny and Ernest infront of a camera back in August during their CNE engagement photography session (you may recognize them from a new blog posts ago!) The CNE was definitely Jenny’s thing; the excitement, the flashing lights… and, well, the food. Ernest; however, much prefers something natural, tranquil and relaxed so he opted for Edwards Gardens engagement photos in a heartbeat!
So Jenny, Ernest and I spent a brisk fall evening walking through Edwards Gardens. They dressed in layers (always a good idea when it gets a little chilly) and made sure to cuddle extra tight to help stay warm.
Although the sun appeared to be shining bright, we couldn’t escape the wind and chills. Luckily Edwards Gardens has a wide variety of trees and greenery to hide behind to get a little shelter! Even with some chilly winds, nothing could appear to stop Ernest and Jenny from enjoying every minute of this engagement session (even if there were no corndogs like at our last session!)
Jenny’s engagement ring, if you can’t tell from the photos, is absolutely spectacular. It was custom made by her friend Sin Kim from Sin Kim Fine Jewellery. Ernest and Sin spent quite a while designing this beauty and when Ernest popped the question to Jenny, she was amazed by the sheer artistry and elegance of this piece of jewelry. Bravo Ernest and Sin – amazing collaboration on a true work of art!
A wonderful day with a wonderful couple! Jenny and Ernest will be getting married in the fall of 2014 and now that they’ve had TWO engagement sessions with me, I have no doubt that they’ll be super models and rockstars when it comes to their wedding day photos.
