“Hi. My name is Erika and I’m addicted to Evergreen Brickworks engagement photos.” Sorry – it’s true though. It’s just such a versatile location that I could shoot here over and over again and never tire of it.
Seriously – there should be a support group for people who just can’t get enough of this place because that’s me! I just love, love, LOVE this location. It had everything; covered areas incase of rain, open natural spaces in the back and a variety of textures that really add a wow-factor your images. In terms of indoor photography locations in Toronto, it’s one of the most affordable – perhaps because it’s not “technically” inside. Covered only. Just a roof. No heat… but that’s okay because sweet couples can help keep each other warm on chilly fall days.
The old kilns are just amazing. Whether you’re inside of them or outside of them, they make for amazing backdrops. Not to mention… you do feel pretty cool when you get to walk inside a kiln. It’s quite the experience for the couple. (Oh don’t worry guys, they haven’t been on for years!)
Time for a quick outfit change before braving the chilly winds of a Toronto fall engagement session.
Did you know there was a little lake at the Evergreen Brickworks? Are you starting to understand now why I love this place so much? It literally has everything. It’s such an amazingly diverse location and perfect for a couple like Stephanie and Ken who wanted a fun afternoon of exploring for their engagement photo session.
Aren’t they sweet? I had such a fantastic time shooting these images and getting to hang out with this uber-awesome couple. In just a few more months they’ll be tying the knot and become Mr. and Mrs. – I can’t wait for that day to come! Wishing you both luck in not only your wedding planning but also on your wedding day. Looking forward to capturing your first pictures as husband and wife! xoxo
