Hotel Wedding in Toronto
Here are just a few of our faves from this couples beautiful music inspired Hotel Wedding in Toronto. We’re no stranger to photographing weddings at Hotel Ocho and other downtown Toronto hotels. We’ve had many opportunities in the past to celebrate at Ocho and we marvel at how each and every wedding there is truly unique. Every couple puts their own spin on each wedding.
The couple decided to head west for their photos; there’s a beautiful area in Toronto called graffiti alley that is filled with colours and art that is ever evolving. One of our favourite works of art of the “This is paradise” wall. I think that “this is paradise” truly speaks to what a wedding day is like:
Wedding days are paradise. You’ve spent months planning a day of celebration. You’ve worked tirelessly to add personal touches to make your day unique but despite the hundreds of Pinterest boards, the countless hour spent surfing #weddinginspo on Instagram, the part of the day that will be the most uplifting for your soul will be the fact that you’ll be surrounded by a roomful of friends and family. On a wedding day, we celebrate with those who love us the very most. People come from all over the city, the province and sometimes even the world to share a meal and celebrate with us. To me – that is paradise.
Hotel Wedding in Toronto: Wedding Planning Tips
- If you’re getting ready in the beautiful rooms at Ocho, make sure that you have a designated “getting ready” room and a designated “storing stuff” room. This way the minimalist inspired bridal suite can stay clean and clear.
- There are many places to do a first look at Hotel Ocho – you can stay on the same level or utilize the stairs and overhang.
- The dancefloor can get quite dark – if that’s the vibe you’re aiming for (like it was in this wedding) then you’re set to go! If you prefer a bit more of a club atmosphere, talk to your decorator or DJ about bringing lights for the dancefloor!
