Stephanie and Ken’s Liberty Grand wedding photos are some of my faves; in fact, you may already have seen my most favourite image in a few spots around my website. While their reception took place at the Liberty Grand, they took their wedding photos at Knox College shortly after the church ceremony at St. Basil’s. All in all, the day was gorgeous and super fun – from start to finish!
The wedding day started with one of my favourite things: MAKEUP! The girls were all wearing beautiful kimonos and getting pampered while the guys hung out in their condo and enjoyed some morning refreshments. While most people think that it takes two photographers to cover both the bride and the groom in the morning; in reality, it can be done by 1 photographer about 99% of the time. One of the reasons I love shooting the bride and groom in the morning (instead of sending a second shooter) is that it allows me the opportunity to capture the entire story.
Could you find a place more beautiful than this? I think not!
It’s time to head off for wedding photos at U of T. Toronto wedding photographers are typically quite familiar with U of T since it’s such a popular place for couples to take their photos. We decided to switch it up a bit with these two, though, and opt for the typically outdoor U of T photos as well as indoor wedding photos at Knox College (that is, after a quick detour to the Humber Bay Bridge).
The time to celebrate is here! The formalities of the day are now complete and with a tasty meal awaiting all of us, the reception is ready to begin. Stephanie + Ken ensured that I had a few moments to photograph the wedding reception details before the guests went in and I think it’s a few moments that are very necessary. What do you think?
A cigar bar with the boys and one last sweet late night wedding photo with the couple wrapped up our night. Thank you to everyone who allowed me the opportunity to hang out with you, get to know you and snap your picture during the day!
