Niagara Engagement Photos

What I love about these Niagara engagement photos is that the location is so immensely versatile that you can spend only a few minutes walking around yet achieve such a varied look to your images.

Captured by Sarah; these engagement photos are some of the most romantic photos we have captured this summer.  The love between these two is, well… take a look for yourself.  The way they look at each other, the way they kiss and embrace; it’s pretty darn evidence that they love each other to the moon and back (and then some!)

So what’s the secret to getting such romantic and warm Niagara engagement photos?  Well, first – be in Niagara.  Seriously, it’s a beautiful place.  The couple had a cottage in the area so that’s where we decided to shoot.  The lakeshore, the downtown and even the smallest little street – everything is magical in Niagara.  Maybe it’s the fact that I live in Toronto, surrounded by a concrete jungle, but I’m totally infatuated with Niagara.  Being in such a romantic location will automatically add to the romance of your photos.  Keep scrolling through for more tips on how to get super romantic photos!

 The second tip for achieving super romantic photos is to allow yourselves to be vulnerable.  I know it’s easier said than done; but you have to find a way to get past that “I’m awkward in front of the camera” feeling that you may be dreading.  When you’re working with a photographer who you really jive with, it’s easier to let your guard down and trust in the experience.

Finally, the best way to ensure you get super romantic photos is to be SUPER IN LOVE!!  Seems like a no-brainer, right?  I know, I know.  While some couples aren’t fond of “PDA” there are more ways to show romance other than kissing.  Holding hands, hugging, brushing hair away from her face – those are all beautiful moments that can help show your love via photos.
