Polson Pier Beach Photos| Spring Session
We had the greatest opporunity to capture the Polson Pier Beach photos for this lovely couple and their dog Brooklyn! It was so much fun!
The Polson Pier area of the city is so much more than just the actual pier; the neighborhood encompasses not only some sweet architecture and old buildings but also a bridge that leads to Cherry Beach. I’ve shot engagement photos at Cherry Beach quite a few times and am always happy to return; but I think Helen and Steve’s puppy, Brooklyn, was even happier to be there than I was. It made for perfect Polson Pier Beach photos!
We had a beautiful sunset on the pier, we started our session by heading down to Cherry Beach. Brooklyn was enjoying being out and smelling all the new smells! Our couple was enjoying each others company and their cuddles. As a photographer, you always learn so much about your couple during the engagement session; you get to see which clients are romantic, which ones are silly and which ones love to laugh.
As we left the beach and headed back towards the pier, we had to make sure that we stopped at a few of the buildings as well as the bridge – taking in everything that the Polson Pier neighbourhood has to offer.
We made it to the pier, just as the sun was setting. The Toronto skyline was draped in a beautiful orange glow and the water sparkled behind us. Using a few different photography techniques, including prisming (a little something I learned at the Sam Hurd Epic workshop) we were able to capture the skyline in a variety of different ways; the images are as dynamic as our city is.
Congratulations to the happy couple – I absolutely cannot WAIT to capture your wedding day!
