Scarborough Bluffs Wedding Photos
Amber and John are absolutely adorable newlyweds. Having recently taken the walk down the aisle, they thought it would be a superb choice to wear their wedding gear one more time and take a trip down memory lane all while capturing some beautiful Scarborough Bluffs wedding photos. They were planning to head off on their honeymoon the morning after this session. Where they were headed was going to be warm and sunny; a place I’m oh so jealous of right now.
Captured by the newest member of our team, Sarah, these photos show that you can still have some really great rainy day wedding photos – especially if your photographer knows how to really use the light *wink wink* Just keep on scrolling and you’ll see what I mean…
Scarborough Bluffs is a great place for wedding photos; it’s quiet, it’s got one hell of a background and the wind that comes off the lake makes everyone’s hair look great. (Admit it, we’ve all posed infront of the mirror with a fan wildly blowing our hair around as we do our best Blue Steel.) We’ve captured engagement photos at Scarborough Bluffs last fall and ever since then we’ve been dying to get a beautiful bride on the beach. On this rainy day, the beach was virtually deserted and the lovebirds had every inch of it to themselves. Understandeably, it’s a difficult place to get to on a wedding day, but with a view like this, who can resist not coming back for a post wedding portrait session?
Here are some of our faves from Amber + John’s session:
A huge thank you to Amber and John. The two of you were such troopers; dealing with rain, wind and cold. Being able to photograph your love as husband and wife was so much fun and we would love to do it again and again (anniversary sessions, perhaps?) Congratulations to you both – you’re a truly delightful couple and you deserve a lifetime of love and hapiness.
