Sudbury Newborn Photographer

What do you do when you live in Toronto but your friend has a baby in Sudbury? You charge your camera batteries, hop in the car, and play the role of Sudbury newborn photographer for the day.

I spent a good number of years of my young adult life in Sudbury and a part of me has always wanted to return full-time. I’m there several times a year and have the pleasure of working with a number of families for lifestyle photography sessions while I’m there, but this family, in particular, will always have a special place in my heart. We took so many photos during this session but these are my faves and what I want to share today. Newborn sessions that involve older siblings are always such beautiful chaos. Sometimes it’s a bit of jealousy, other times it’s over-protectiveness, and every now and then, it’s complete disinterest – no matter what the story is between an older sibling and their new little family member, it’s always worth capturing.
