Toronto Castle Wedding Photos
Lorraine and Dexter’s Toronto castle wedding photos are some of my favourite from the 2014 year. Not only is Casa Loma one of the most beautiful and diverse Toronto wedding photography locations but because this day was filled with so much love, joy and excitement!
Lorraine and Dexter met many years back at World Youth Day and from the moment they met, their love story was destined to be as beautiful as their love story. The wedding day started with the bride getting ready – surrounded by the sweetest bridesmaids in the world, Lorraine transformed from an already beautiful woman into a jaw-dropping bride. I couldn’t help but wonder, after seeing her twirl around in her dress, if she was going to manage to get a few tears from Dexter.
And here come the tears… Without a doubt, Lorraine took Dexter’s breath away as she walked down the aisle.
When you think wedding day, most people think about the party. But the fact is, your wedding ceremony is one of the most important parts of the day. It’s the moment you become husband and wife; the moment you declare your love openly to one another and in front of your family and friends. Seeing couples truly present during their ceremony; listening to the words they are speaking to each other and the words their officiant, pastor or priest is speaking, makes the moments that much more magical.
Officially Mr. and Mrs, we headed to Casa Loma for the first pictures together as husband and wife. I seriously can’t get enough Casa Loma wedding photos – I could have kept shooting all day except dinner had to be served. (Maybe I’ll be lucky enough to return again in the future!)
Before dinner started, Dexter has one request. It was a simple request – but one that meant a lot to him. It was time to get the team together! I had a lot of fun taking these images of the boys and even more fun playing around in Photoshop afterwards. It’s always refreshing to do something a little crazy during the editing process – and this one takes the cake!
To Lorraine and Dexter: Thank you so, so very much for allowing me the opportunity to capture your Casa Loma wedding pictures. Your friends and family are so loving, warm and welcoming that I felt like part of the family. I wish you both an infinite amount of love and happiness. xoxo
