Whistle Bear Wedding Photos
Eileen and Jesse’s Whistle Bear Wedding Photos are so exciting! This family had it all – the love, the support, the kindness, the real and genuine emotion that we thrive on seeing on wedding days. Everyone was so present on the day. While people took a few selfies here are there (you’ll see a great one in a minute) you could see that the commitment to family was something that was unspoken on both sides. People did not hesitate whatsoever to put their devices away and share in the smiles of the day.
What started out as an easy going morning with the girls in the house that Eileen grew up in turned into a massive party with so many amazing dancers and party people! The rain held off just long enough for us to walk through Whistle Bear and explore the grounds but the help of a gold cart certainly was appreciated! The ceremony took place in their brand new outdoor pavilion and we were thrilled to be some of the first to get the photograph in there! It was still bright and beautiful but fully covered – perfect for those pesky overcast wedding days that leave you worried about being caught in the rain.
Dinner and speeches were wonderful; the speeches were impactful and so personal. Some brought tears of joy while others brought some of the biggest belly laughs of the evening; the drinks were topped up and the dancing began and lasted well past midnight!
Thank you so much to Eileen + Jesse for having me there to capture your Whistle Bear wedding photos and for being outstandingly sweet, kind and caring clients!
Whistle Bear Wedding Photos: Tips
- Always opt for the pavilion for your ceremony; rain or shine, it’s fantastic!
- If you’re going to take family photos near the front of the facility by the rocks (as they suggest) remember that you’re north facing – this means that unless it’s quite late in the day or unless it’s overcast, the lighting may not be optimal. Make sure you ask your photographer about a good “Plan B” location – these are important photos so you want great light!
- Consider the 2 tiered head table like Eileen + Jesse had; it keeps the couple in the perfect position for reaction photos with speeches! Small wedding party? No problem – have your head table raised regardless.
