I had such an amazing time capturing these Mildred’s Temple Kitchen wedding photos – and it’s not just because the food was amazing, the couple was beyond fantastic, too. I’ve been fortunate enough, in my years as a Toronto wedding photographer, to work at some pretty spectacular venues and to sample some super tasty food (the Origins Liberty Village wedding I blogged a while ago is a perfect example). What I loved about Mildred’s is that the food was not only delicious but it’s prepared in an open-concept kitchen so that you could see the talented chefs preparing the food right in front of you.

I could go on about food forever – it’s the foodie in me – but I’ll restrain myself a little bit and talk about the wedding day itself.

The actual wedding day was about a year ago; and although I can sometimes get behind on blogging this wedding stayed hidden for a while as I was waiting for it to be published in a few different blogs. I’m so happy that I can now display the images for all to see!

The wedding day started calmly, at the family home. The coffee was brewing and there was plenty of food for everyone. When I arrived, everyone was gathered around the kitchen island, eating and sipping their coffee. Nothing brings families together like food (a theme you’ll see come up again in this post!)
