Alexander Muir Gardens Wedding Photos
One of the things I enjoy most about being a Toronto wedding photographer is that I get to explore new areas of the city with each and every wedding. Matt and Madette opted for Alexander Muir Gardens wedding photos and I was thrilled because it was one of the very few parks I had yet been to. But before I get ahead of myself, let’s start at the beginning of the day.
Our day started with Matt and his boys. It was an early morning for the boys but the nerves were already beginning to rattle. Today was going to be the day that Matt was going to get married! He’d waited so long for this day. Luckily his brother was there to help him get those little details taken care of and to help him look his finest.
There’s something to be said about a bride who gets ready in her childhood bedroom; it’s so sweet and sentimental. Madette’s dress was hung with care while all the girls gathered in her bedroom, waiting for their turn to be beautified!
As Madette walked down the aisle with her very proud parents, tears began to shed from all. She was simply flawless.
Off to Alexander Muir Gardens for wedding photos! Thank goodness the rainy skies cleared up – someone must have been watching over these two newlyweds.
When you have 200+ friends and family members, you throw you party in a beautiful ballroom like The Brighton. Beautiful mint green decor accented the hall as guests were ushered in, drinks in hand, to watch the couple have their first dance (choreographed by the bride’s uncle… how sweet!).
The reception wrapped up with a Filipino tradition: the money dance. Guests pinned money to the bride and groom to buy a dance with them. I think all the ladies wanted to give Matt a squeeze since he looked so good in his suit – there was a line-up a mile long for him! Then again, there was quite a line for the bride, too. Matt and Madette simply have a spectacular family, amazing friends and a fabulous support network who were so excited to celebrate in their special day. Congratulations to you both!
