Hello blog readers! I hope you’re all having a wonderful fall as we transition from spooky scary Hallowe’en into the magical holiday season!
As summer and fall weddings are winding down, I’m starting to hit the blog a little more. This weeks topic: Professional Photo Albums! I just released a brand new catalogue of 2011 Professional Album prices and now is the best time to show you one of my favourite layouts from this summers wedding!
Sneha & Alex were married this past summer in a stunning backyard ceremony at the family home. The day was perfect, despite the quick storm that hit mid-ceremony. Sneha & Alex were such a sweet couple – their love completely genuine! I shot the wedding alongside a tremendously talented colleague of mine, Anne Edgar. Together, we must have shot well over 3,000 images so it was very difficult to choose the images that went into the album.
Because Sneha & Alex’s wedding day was filled with so much lovely colour and beautiful, intricate details, I opted for a simple album layout which directs the focus to the detail within the photos.
This album was kept to a simple 20-side layout although there were so many wonderful shots it could have easily been made into a 40-sided story book.
UPDATE: When we transferred this article from our old blog to this new location, our photos got lost in the world wide web! We are currently in the process of pulling out old hardrives to retrieve the photos and repost this article. Thank you for your patience!
