Hazelton Manor Wedding: Amanda + Mike
When Mike and Amanda told me they were planning a Hazelton Manor Wedding, I was thrilled! It’s such an amazing location! But when they told me they were also planning a football themed wedding, I was totally sold!! I can’t tell you how much I absolutely love it when clients incorporate non-traditional elements into their wedding day as a way to personalize the entire experience. Maybe I’m a little biased because I, too, incorporated some non-traditional elements into my own wedding *cough, cough, The Simpsons, cough* but after you see how unique Amanda and Mike’s wedding day was, you’re going to want to add personal touches to your wedding day, too.
Our morning started off with the boys – of course this was where a lot of the football memorabilia was and of COURSE I was going to use it in as many photos as I could. The guys enjoyed their morning joking around and relaxing. What a great group of guys to hang out with first thing in the morning!
I met up with the bride at one of the newer hotels in Vaughan; Element Vaughan Southwest Hotel. What a stunning location for wedding photos! I had a great time with Amanda and her friends as she transformed into a blushing bride. Amanda’s mom helped her into her dress and gave her a hand with all the finishing touches. You could really tell how proud she was of her daughter.
After a beautiful church ceremony we headed off for a few James Gardens wedding photos. James Gardens is a great place – lots of greenery, beautiful little bridges and amazing colours! Of al the parks in the city, it is one of my favourite Toronto wedding photography parks. We we strolled along the park, we started to hear singing. As we approached a little gazebo, there was a man playing a guitar and singing… it sure made for some lovely entertainment for the newlyweds! (And some awesome candid moments!)
The reception at Hazelton Manor went off without a hitch! The food was amazing, the decor was stunning and of course, the guests sure knew how to party!
Congratulations to Mike, Amanda and also to their families. Wishing everything a lifetime of love and happiness. Thank you so much for allowing me to capture the story of your wedding day.
