Estates of Sunnybrook Wedding: Danielle + Chris
Danielle and Chris’ unique lovestory is one for the movies! He’s travelled across an entire ocean for her and they’re now living happily ever after.
Their Estates of Sunnybrook wedding was absolutely breathtaking. It wasn’t just the beautiful architecture of the Vaughan Estates and intricate details that made their day amazing, it was the incredible amount of love and support from their friends and family that made the day extraordinary. Laughing, hugging and lots and lots of joking were on the roster for the day – it’s always such a joy to photograph moments like those!
The day started off with the bride; makeup applications, hair styling and cuddles from Pandora – one of the fluffiest kitties I’ve ever seen! The girls were having a great time enjoying some great tunes and amazing mimosas as Danielle made her transformation from everyday beauty to stunning bride.
Photographing a Vaughan Estates wedding is a photographers dream; the outdoor ceremony location is breathtaking and the estate itself is one of the most unique photography locations in Toronto. Yep, definitely a photographers dream… especially when you get such a fun and beautiful couple to work with, too!
Although we ended up having perfect weather for the day, when you’re working at a place like the Vaughan Estates (or the McLean House) you don’t even need to worry about having a rainy day backup plan. The estate itself is a spectacular indoor photography location in Toronto that almost any bride and groom would find appealing. Even though the weather was amazing on Danielle and Chris’ wedding day, we still opted for a few grand photos inside the estate – who could pass up an opportunity to shoot in such an amazing location?
The reception… words cannot describe how amazing it was. Let’s let some pictures do the talking…
Aside from receiving wedding wishes from most of the cast of Star Wars (thanks to an amazing bridal party), Danielle’s MOH rapped an amazing speach, to the tune of the Fresh Prince of BellAir theme for the newlyweds. Is where this happy couple eventually did meet
One of those nights they must have got a little naughty
Cause she messaged me and said, “Chris has got a smokin’ body!”
A couple years passed and their love did grow
Chris got down on one knee, which was the start of the show
On a mountanous hill he asked “Will you be my wife?”
It was the happiest moment of Danielle’s entire life
So Chris gave her a ring, with some serious bling
Danielle said “Hell yes, let’s do this thing!”
Now look at this party, now grab your beer
Cheers to Mr. and Mrs. P., you’re finally here!”
At the end of the day, this Toronto wedding photographer was exhausted from all the action, but loved every single minute of it. What a truly spectacular day with an amazing couple. Wishing you a lifetime of health, happiness and love.
