Hello lovelies!  I’m Lea.  I’m part of the Ten·2·Ten Team and have been a Toronto wedding photographer for over 4 years now.  I know it’s cliché for me to talk about how passionate I am about my craft, so I’ll just answer some of the most popular FAQs for you!

A worthwhile investment

The detail I got from Erika was more than I ever expected.  She really listens and cares about you and is able to understand your business and what you need to do to help yourself out.  She was really open about everything and wasn't afraid to say what I needed to hear.  My bookings are up, I'm getting clients that match me and I'm so confident in my brand now.  I'm so glad I worked with Erika!

PILLAR OF STRENGTH

LIKE WORKING WITH AN OLD FRIEND

Erika and her team are so professional.  Everything from quick answers to our questions to helping us through some of the more stressful parts of our wedding day.  It didn’t feel like we were working with just another “vendor”, it felt like we were working with a friend.

A TRUE REFLECTION OF THE DAY

We didn’t want to look too posed in our photos but we also wanted someone who was comfortable working with people who needed some guidance too.  We feel like “us” when we look at our photos and we were so comfortable the entire day.  I’m so happy with my wedding photos!

INTERVIEW

Q: What’s the most important thing you need from a client during your relationship with them?

A:  I think the magic ingredient to a great photo session is when everyone is on the same page.  Making sure our personalities match well and that we have a similar vision for what we want from our experience together.  When you’re on the same page with someone you can then feed off of each other’s excitement and this can result in some pretty fun adventures and epic photos.

Q:  Where is your favourite place to capture engagement photos?

A:  I like nature.  I can be found exploring any time I’m not shooting.  I love traveling too so if you’re up for a fun engagement session in a provincial park then I’m game!!  I love photographing in the time frame right before sunset; when the sun has become golden and soft and the glow is just peeking over the horizon.  Everything looks so much prettier during that time.

Q:  What do you think people should do with their engagement photos?

A:  Show them off!  Put them on your instagram or Facebook.  Print one for your desk at work.  Keep one by your bedside.  Put one any place that you may need a little pick-me-up!  Photos are meant to be shared.

Q: What do you recommend for couples who feel they may be shy in front of the camera?

A:  I would say to stop thinking of the engagement session as a “photo session” and start thinking of it as a date!  If you go into it with the mindset of “I’m going to have a romantic date with my partner and it’s just going to happen to be photographed” it will really help you feel more relaxed.
